B&B Insurance is registered as an insurance broker with the FSMA (Financial Services and Markets Authority). You can verify our registration via the FSMA register.
2. Insurance branches offered
As an independent insurance broker, we offer advice and intermediation in all 29 insurance branches, including:
- Non-life: Fire, Natural disasters, Theft, Storm damage, Water damage, Glass breakage, Private liability, Business liability, Motor vehicles (Third-party, Comprehensive), Transport, Credit, Surety, Miscellaneous financial losses, Legal assistance, Assistance

We work with multiple insurance companies to offer you the most suitable coverage at the best conditions.
3. Conflict of interest policy
B&B Insurance takes all reasonable measures to identify, prevent, and manage conflicts of interest. We apply the following principles:
- The client's interest is always central to our advice
- We transparently inform you about our remuneration structure
- We offer you an objective analysis of the available products on the market
- Our employees are not rewarded based on specific product sales
- If a conflict of interest cannot be adequately managed, we will inform you before providing advice
4. Remuneration policy
Our office is compensated through commissions (brokerage fees) included in the premium you pay. This remuneration is paid by the insurance company and is not separately owed by you.
Our employees receive a fixed salary. Any variable remuneration:
- Is not based on the sale of specific products
- Includes qualitative criteria such as customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and quality of service
- Is assessed over a longer period
5. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with the Law of July 30, 2013 on distance selling of financial services to consumers, you have the right to withdraw from an insurance contract concluded at a distance:
- Non-life insurance: within 14 calendar days of the conclusion of the contract
- Life insurance: within 30 calendar days of the conclusion of the contract (Art. 232 Law of April 4, 2014)
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify us in writing via info@bb-insurance.be or by post. Upon withdrawal, the premium already paid will be refunded, minus the amount for the coverage period already elapsed.
Exceptions: the right of withdrawal does not apply to insurance contracts with a duration of less than one month, or when the contract has been fully performed at the express request of the consumer before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

7. Anti-money laundering obligations
B&B Insurance, as an insurance intermediary, is subject to the Law of September 18, 2017 on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing. In this context, we are required to:
- Verify the identity of our clients (Know Your Customer / KYC) before entering into a business relationship
- Be vigilant regarding unusual transactions
- Report suspicious transactions to the Financial Intelligence Processing Unit (CTIF-CFI)
We may ask you for a copy of your identity card or other identification documents. This is a legal obligation we must comply with.
8. Sustainability policy (SFDR)
In accordance with European Regulation 2019/2088 (Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation), we inform you that our office considers sustainability risks when providing insurance advice for investment-related insurance products.
We closely follow developments in sustainable finance and adapt our policy as regulations evolve.
9. Applicable legislation
Our activities as an insurance broker are subject to:
- The Law of April 4, 2014 on insurance
- The Law of July 30, 2013 on distance selling of financial services to consumers
- The Law of September 18, 2017 on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing
- The IDD Directive (Insurance Distribution Directive) 2016/97
- The Royal Decrees of February 21, 2014, including the code of conduct for insurance intermediaries (FSMA deontological code)
- The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
B&B Insurance acts in accordance with the code of conduct imposed by the FSMA and is a member of the FVF (Federation of Insurance and Financial Intermediaries).
