General Terms and Conditions
Terms for our intermediation services
1. Scope
These general terms and conditions apply to all services provided by B&B Insurance BV (Company number: 1024.806.087, FSMA No. 118 339), located at Korte Keppestraat 21 bus 27, 9320 Aalst, Belgium, in its capacity as an insurance broker.
By using our services, you accept these terms and conditions.
2. Nature of services
B&B Insurance acts as an independent insurance broker. This means that we:
- Analyze your insurance needs based on the information you provide
- Make an objective comparison of the insurance products available on the market
- Advise you on the most suitable coverage and conditions
- Mediate in the conclusion of insurance contracts
- Assist you in the management of your policies and in case of claims
We always act in your interest and in compliance with the IDD Directive and Belgian insurance legislation.
3. Client obligations
To enable us to advise you correctly, you commit to:
- Providing all requested information completely and truthfully
- Informing us promptly of changes in your personal situation that may affect your insurance
- Paying premiums on time in accordance with the insurance company's payment terms
- Reporting claims immediately and providing all necessary cooperation
Incorrect or incomplete information may result in a refusal of coverage by the insurance company.
4. Remuneration
Our services are compensated through commissions (brokerage fees) included in the premium you pay to the insurance company. No additional fees are charged to you unless expressly agreed in advance.

5. Liability
B&B Insurance commits to providing its services with due care and expertise. Our liability is limited to cases of proven fault, negligence, or non-compliance with our legal obligations.
B&B Insurance is not liable for:
- Decisions by insurance companies regarding acceptance, premium determination, or compensation
- Damage resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client
- Financial consequences of late premium payments by the client
- Acts or omissions of insurance companies
B&B Insurance holds professional liability insurance in accordance with the legal requirements for insurance intermediaries.
6. Duration and termination
The relationship between B&B Insurance and the client is entered into for an indefinite period and may be terminated by either party at any time, without reason and without compensation.
Upon termination of the cooperation:
- Existing insurance contracts remain in force until their expiry date
- B&B Insurance will transfer all necessary information and documents to the client or their new intermediary
- Any outstanding obligations remain in force
7. Privacy
The processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
8. Complaints

9. Applicable law and competent court
These general terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of East Flanders, Dendermonde division.
10. Changes
B&B Insurance reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions. The most recent version is always available on our website.
